Passages worth a second look
Screen a document for signs of AI-generated text, then inspect flagged and borderline passages in context. These results help you decide what to check; they do not prove who wrote the text.
— Federrabe / Software for Mac
Review legal drafts on your Mac. Federrabe highlights passages that need checking, compares US case citations with its local index, and helps you document your review.

01 / The product
Made for lawyers and supervising partners who want to inspect a draft without uploading confidential work to a cloud service.
Screen a document for signs of AI-generated text, then inspect flagged and borderline passages in context. These results help you decide what to check; they do not prove who wrote the text.
Federrabe compares the case named in a full US case citation with the case at that reporter, volume and page in its bundled index. Results distinguish a match, a mismatch and an unverified citation.
Record what you checked and what you decided, with optional notes. Export a Word document containing the findings, your review decisions and a content hash that identifies the draft.
Open a Word document or plain text. Review a folder of Word documents together, then export a combined record that also identifies documents that could not be reviewed.
02 / A closer look
Try the sample below: inspect a citation mismatch, record your decision, and see how it appears in the review record. This is an example, not a document-analysis service.
United States District Court · Fictional example
The Court considers whether the complaint states a claim upon which relief may be granted. The parties disagree about the sufficiency of the allegations.
Viewed in its entirety, the complaint presents a comprehensive framework of allegations that must be assessed in light of the applicable pleading standard and the circumstances of the dispute.
The draft cites Ashcroft v. Iqbal, 550 U.S. 544 (2007) for that standard.
Shortened excerpt for display. The app scores individual passages of at least 100 words.
Record your review
The citation in this example points to Bell Atlantic Corp. v. Twombly, not Ashcroft v. Iqbal.
Sample decision: Not yet reviewed
This example changes only the sample record below. Nothing is uploaded or saved between visits.
Supervision record / illustrative preview
The app exports a .docx record. This browser example is a preview, not an exported review or a legal assessment.
Illustrative product walkthrough, not a live detector or an app screenshot. The lawyer remains responsible for checking the draft.
03 / How it works
Choose a .docx or plain-text document on your Mac. For a larger review, select a folder of Word documents.
Inspect marked passages and citation results alongside the draft. Verify the underlying authority and make changes in your own editor. Federrabe never rewrites the source document.
Record a decision for each item, add notes if needed, and export a Word supervision record to keep with your file.
04 / Privacy by architecture
Review confidential work without uploading it.
Document review runs locally. The scoring model and citation index work on your device; no document text is sent to Ladaonkonn or to a cloud detector.
The app uses the network for initial model setup, an optional update check, and license actions you initiate. Those requests do not carry document text.
Read the website privacy notice ↗No document upload. No cloud analysis.
05 / Before you start
Initial setup and license activation require internet access. Once set up, document review works offline.
A flag prompts a closer look; it does not establish that someone used AI. False positives and false negatives are possible. A clean result is not a certification.
Passage screening is intended for English legal text. Paragraphs under 100 words are not scored individually; documents under 100 words receive no score.
Citation checks cover full US case citations in a dated, bundled index. They compare case names, not holdings, quotations or the proposition for which a case is cited. An unverified citation still needs manual checking.
PDF and legacy .doc files are not supported. The source draft is never rewritten. The responsibility to verify and supervise remains with the lawyer.

No. It identifies text for human review. A detector score is not a probability of authorship, and neither a flag nor a clean result establishes who wrote a passage.
No document text is sent during analysis. The app’s initial model download, optional update checks and user-initiated license actions require network connections, but do not carry document text.
No. The citation check compares case names with a bundled US case-law index. It does not establish whether a case remains good law or supports a legal proposition.
